Spunky, my Red Lored Amazon really perks up and responds to the awesome soundtrack of this DVD!! He pitches right in when the Red Loreds appear, also cocks his head and starts looking for chicks when the baby birds chirp from their nest. It's super and I immediately ordered another copy to send to my brother in law who is an Avian Scientist at Sherman College.
We now spend 50/50 time listening to human/bird audio and visuals--which is only fair! Spunky's own speech is now more full of trills and warbles. (He also likes to hear opera--such as Wagner--with the high pitched trills of humans.) It's fun -- the soundtracks are relaxing, natural and I wake up to them with my Amazon every morning. It's hard to improve on Mother Nature, really, so let's spread the good news--that the world's parrots should be kept free!
